As of 1 October 2025, Renata Oosterkamp has been appointed Director of Finance at the University of Twente by the Executive Board. She had already been serving as the acting head of the department since June.
Machteld Roos, Vice President of the Executive Board, looks forward to continuing the collaboration:

Oosterkamp herself regards her new position as both a challenge and an opportunity to make an impact:
“I am delighted to continue fulfilling the role of Director of Finance in the coming period. We are at the start of an exciting journey in which we will further strengthen the financial function of the university together. The path ahead has not yet been fully defined, and that makes the challenge all the more interesting. Together with all colleagues involved, I want to help set and shape the course.”
Career
Renata Oosterkamp has been closely connected to the University of Twente for many years. Since 2010 she has worked as Head of Internal Audit. From 1991 to 1998 she was also employed at the university as Assistant Accountant. In the intervening years she worked as Accountant and Audit Manager at Ten Kate & Huizinga.
