David Korringa, Managing Director at the Faculty of ITC, has decided to leave the University of Twente early next year. David joined the UT in 2007 and has held several leadership positions, including Director of Campus & Facility Management, Director of Operations at the Faculty of ET, and, since 2019, at ITC.
David will start in February 2026 as a member of the Executive Board of Stichting Consent. Stichting Consent is responsible for all public primary schools in the municipalities of Enschede, Oldenzaal, Losser, and Dinkelland.
David on his departure: “After 18 years at UT, it’s time for a new chapter. I look back with great appreciation on my time here and the many valuable collaborations with colleagues.”
Dean Freek van der Meer: “David has a strong sense for people and processes. With his energy, experience, and humour, he has been a driving force behind ITC Future Proof.”
The ITC Faculty Board sincerely thanks David for his commitment and dedication over the years and wishes him all the best in his future career. The procedure to find his successor will start soon. David will remain with ITC for the coming months, allowing time for a personal farewell.
