Information for premaster and KOM-minor students ME 2018

Program introduction: last week of August

28-30 of August: (pre) master introduction

We recommend you to participate at least Tuesday August 28th, where we present information about the program.

Books:

You can order the books at the study association: Isaac Newton. Please check Osiris for each course to know exactly which books are used in the course.

For some courses (system analysis, linear algebra) you’ll need a dictate, you can buy those at the Unionshop (Bastille).


Osiris

The student administration uses Osiris. You are responsible for registering for each course before the start of the quartile. http://www.utwente.nl/onderwijssystemen/onderwijssystemen/osiris/   


Canvas

The University of Twente uses Canvas to inform you about the content of each course. After registering for a course in Osiris you will receive access to the canvas site of that course. Attention: some premaster courses are part of a bachelor module and you will only need to focus on the information restricted to that part, f.i. system analysis.


Premaster finished, what do I have to do?

In order to be admitted to the master you have to finish your premaster within a year, this is usually in March when the last re-exams are offered. As soon as you finish you premaster the premaster coordinator will inform the student administration that your premaster registration can be changed into a master registration. Premaster students from universities of applied sciences don’t have to do an internship but have to do the following courses during their master:
