In this short video the members of the working group Housing of ITC, who are already active for more than a year, introduce themselves and give you an impression of their role in the working group.
European tender design team
Currently the European tender to select a design team is still running.
On the 14th of June, we are allowed to announce the companies who will form the design team to realize the design of the new build of ITC.
The design team consists of the architect, installation advisor and the advisor building physics.
The designing process starts with a sketch design before the summer break, followed by a preliminary design and then a final design.
We expect the designing phase will take about a year.
Of course we will include your input during this process, by forming a design team with the above mentioned parties together with a representation of staff and student members of ITC and our project manager from Campus & Facility Management (Sander Scheltens).
Workshops: ‘Workplaces in the New ITC Building’ with Titia van den Berg
In the past months the workshops “Workplaces in the New ITC Building” has been kicked off by Titia van den Berg.
Of the participants of these workshops, we have learned that it wasn’t quite clear what the meaning and status of these workshops are and how the input that is given will be included in the further design of the new build.
So we would like to explain the importance of the workshops and and how we will include the obtained input in the follow-up process.
The goal of the workshops is to explore aspects that influence the working processes and workplace requirements. The obtained input will be translated by Titia into image impressions, workplace scenario's and dilemmas, which she will present to the Faculty Board and the working group housing. In these two bodies, choices will be made for the next phase in the new build project.
As soon as it is clear to what kind of choices the input from the workplace workshops has led, we will inform you.
The final series of workshops per department are planned in June. The participants of the previous workshops will be invited.
