The most far-reaching form of digital working is to say goodbye to paper. The UT has a set of rules that allow paper documents to be replaced by digital reproductions. The quality and durability of the digital version is guaranteed. The agreements can be found in the Replacement Manual adopted by the Executive Board.
Many things about digital working are already well arranged at the UT. For instance multifunctional settings that meet the quality requirements and presence of a certified Document Management System (JOIN).
Departments that want to work fully digitally can request a Replacement Permission at Archive. The paper documents are replaced by a digital copy that has the same legal status as the paper copy. In the application procedure, the set of appointments shall be tested for your day-to-day operations and whether the process meets the requirements of replacement.
The Replacement Manual can be found here (in Dutch) that we like to explain in an interview. As said, in the application procedure, the set of appointments shall be tested for your day-to-day operations and whether the process meets the requirements of replacement.

In order to understand the workflow of paper documents, it may be necessary to have one or more interviews with stakeholders.
