Description
Tilburg.ai is Tilburg University’s initiative for exploring and developing the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education, research and university practice. It brings together AI tools, knowledge, training and expertise to help students, teachers, researchers and staff make effective and responsible use of generative AI. The initiative is continuously evolving, with new tools, resources and materials added along the way. You can find, for example:
- AI tools: Tilburg.ai develops AI applications for students and teachers, including course-specific chatbots, a CV assistant, and other AI tools for education.
- Tutorials & knowledge base: Articles on topics such as prompt engineering, AI tools, AI safety, privacy, bias, and the use of generative AI in teaching, learning, and research. The site now features dozens of articles.
- Prompt engineering course: A free, ten-part course on how to write more effective prompts.
- E-learning on responsible AI use: Designed for students and staff, covering how large language models (LLMs) work, their capabilities and limitations, and the ethical considerations surrounding their use.
- Tilly: Tilburg University’s own AI chatbot. Tilly is more than a simple ChatGPT clone: the platform has been specifically designed for use in higher education and can work with course-specific materials. This allows teachers, for example, to provide students with a chatbot that answers questions based on the sources and materials of a particular course.
