Would you like to learn a new language or build on the skills you already have? The University of Twente Language Centre offers courses in French, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

French
Parlez-vous français? Build on your basic knowledge of French and develop the skills to communicate with greater confidence in everyday situations. Our French A2 course focuses on practical communication, with speaking at its core, while also developing your listening, reading and writing skills.
German
Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Build on your basic knowledge of German and develop the skills to communicate with greater confidence in everyday situations. Our German A2 course focuses on practical communication, with speaking at its core, while also developing your listening, reading and writing skills.
Italian
Parli italiano? Take your first steps in Italian and learn to communicate in simple everyday situations. Our Italian A1 course focuses on practical communication, with speaking at its core, while also developing your listening, reading and writing skills.
Mandarin Chinese
Nǐ hǎo! Discover Mandarin Chinese and develop the skills to communicate in everyday situations. We offer Mandarin Chinese at two levels:
Mandarin Chinese 1 – A1
New to Mandarin Chinese? Learn the basics and start communicating in simple everyday situations, with a strong focus on practical and spoken language.
Mandarin Chinese 2 – A2
Already have a basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese? Build on your skills and learn to communicate with greater confidence, with an emphasis on spoken Mandarin and practical communication.
Spanish
¿Hablas español? Discover Spanish and develop the skills to communicate in everyday situations while learning more about the language and cultures of Spain and Latin America. We offer Spanish at two levels:
Spanish A1
New to Spanish? Learn the basics and start communicating in simple everyday situations, with a strong focus on practical and spoken language.
Spanish A2
Already have a basic knowledge of Spanish? Build on your skills and learn to communicate with greater confidence in a wider range of everyday situations.
