Examination Board

The Dean of the Faculty ITC has installed an Examination Board on 2 February 2011.

Task of Examination Board

The Examination Board has to decide in an objective and professional manner whether a student has achieved all knowledge, skills and attitudes, as defined in the EER (Education and Examination Regulations) for awarding of a degree, diploma or certificate of a specific course. Therefore, the Examination Board monitors and is involved in all aspects of assessment from policy on assessment via appointment of examiners to the decision about complaints related to assessment.

A list of all tasks of the Examination Board can be found in Section 1 of the Rules and Regulations of the Faculty ITC Examination Board

Workshop AI in Assessment

This initiative is organised by the Examination Board of ITC in response to the growing need to ensure that all examiners are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to assess effectively in the context of AI. In this session, you will work with peers on your own assessment practices and explore how to make them more “AI-resilient,” while maintaining or enhancing quality. MANDATORY preparation for all participants (about 1h): Choose one assessment from a course you are involved with that you think is suitable for this workshop as a concrete case. Complete a preliminary self-evaluation: a template for this will be shared one month before the workshop. Participants are required to bring the case and self-evaluation document to the workshop. The workshop will also provide space to reflect on broader questions related to quality, policy, and implementation of AI in assessment.

Quality of assessment and impact of AI + analysis activity
Designing AI-resilient assessments
Peer feedback and group discussion
Policy considerations and open questions
Upon completing the workshop, your status as an examiner will be updated to having completed that professional learning activity.
