If you have questions or concerns related to the bachelor’s programme, the study adviser is a good first point of contact. Besides answering questions strictly related to the study, the study adviser can also provide guidance concerning private issues that are getting in the way of your studies. If necessary, she can refer you to people or organizations within or outside the university. The study adviser is aware of programme and university rules and regulations, and, unlike other faculty members, has access to your transcript of records. It is your responsibility to get in touch with the study adviser if you feel like you could use her guidance.
Everything you discuss with the study adviser is confidential. The study adviser will make notes during the meeting with you and enter these in Osiris. You are able to see these notes yourself. The notes are shared with other study advisers of the faculty Engineering Technology to help you at any moment unless you ask to label the note as strictly confidential. Notes are never shared with someone outside our faculty unless you have given permission to do so. You can make an appointment via this website or via et.planner.utwente.nl.
