If you have questions or concerns related to the bachelor’s programme, the study advisor is a good first point of contact. Besides answering questions strictly related to the study, the study advisor can also provide guidance concerning private issues that are getting in the way of your studies. If necessary, she can refer you to people or organizations within or outside the university.
Everything you discuss with the study advisor is confidential. Your situation or concern will only be discussed with third parties who might be able to help if you consent. The study advisor is aware of programme and university rules and regulations, and, unlike other faculty members, has access to your transcript. It is your responsibility to get in touch with the study advisor if you feel like you could use her guidance.
