Manual special leave registration

Registration is important to be able to claim emergency funds in the future. Registration is also relevant to be able to monitor the impact of measures, and to remain transparent concerning our decisions.

Emergency leave (until 6 April)

Emergency leave often is requested after the situation due to the unforeseen nature of emergencies. Emergency leave is discussed between the employee and their manager, in consultation with their HR-advisor. Thus, the application for emergency leave is discussed prior to the leave registration, in which emergency leave can be specifically selected.  

Special leave

The employee will consult with their manager (and the HR advisor) in advance how work activities in combination with the childcare can be performed optimally. The employee can request special leave when they are unable to, or limited in their ability to carry out their work activities. In the current situation, special leave is paid in full (100 percent) and confirmed in a letter to the employee. Special leave can be registered via the leave registration application.

Special attention should be paid to reintegrating employees, recently recovered employees or other special situations. Special leave is, and remains, tailored to each situation. 

Short-term and long-term care leave

Care leave is intended for the necessary care of close family members who are ill. Care leave ought to be discussed with the manager in advance, in consultation with their HR advisor.

Short-term care leave has a maximum period of 2x the working hours per week. This leave can only be taken once every 12 months. It can be distributed within those 12 months, however limitations apply. If after the period of short-term care leave, further care is required for an ill close family member, long-term care leave can be used. This leave has a maximum of 6x the working hours per week and can only be taken once every 12 months.

Both the short-term and the long-term care leave are granted including full (100%) remuneration, and are confirmed in a letter to the employee. Care leave can be registered through the leave registration application.

Leave registration until 6 April 2020

Requesting emergency leave

·       Discuss with your manager concerning the required (max 2) number of days of emergency leave.

·       Request the emergency leave via the leave registration application. In the comment section you state the number of       “Coronadagen” (Coronadays). See the example below.

 

 

Request special leave (depending on the working hours per week)

·       Discuss with your manager concerning the required number of days of special leave.

·       Your manager will discuss the requested number of days with the HR-advisor, and provide feedback.

·       Request the number of days of special leave through the leave registration application. In the comment section you will state “Coronadagen” (Coronadays). See the example below.

·       The number of days of special leave will be confirmed in a letter.

 

Requesting care leave (depending on the working hours per week)

·       Discuss with your manager concerning the required number of days of care leave.

·       Your manager will discuss the requested number of days with the HR-advisor, and provide feedback.

·       Request the number of days of care leave through the leave registration application. In the comment section will you state “Zorgverlof” (Care leave). See the example below.

·       The number of days of care leave will be confirmed in a letter.

 

Leave registration from 6 April 2020
