Prof. Rosemary Deem

Rosemary Deem holds a BA Hons Social Sciences in Economic History & Sociology and an MPhil in Sociology of Education from Leicester University, and a PhD from the Open University course ‘Women and Leisure: a sociological investigation’ She taught at North Staffordshire Polytechnic and Loughborough in York, and the Open and Lancaster Universities before moving to Bristol in 2001. 
At Lancaster she was Head of Department of Educational Research from 1992-4, Dean of Social Sciences 1994-7 and Founding Director of the University Graduate School from 1998-2000. She was also a member of ESRC Grants Board from 1999 to 2003.
Rosemary was an Education Research Assessment Exercise Panel member in 1996, 2001 and 2008.


Prof. Janka Stoker

Janka Stoker is the Vice Dean, faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen since 2009. She is a professor in Leadership and Organizational Change, Member of the Advisory Board of the University Twente; Member Advisory Board RKSV Albertus Magnus; Chair of the Jury Aletta Jacobsprijs RUG.

My research focuses on two themes: 1) leadership and diversity, and 2) self-perceptions of leaders. I teach both in the bachelor and master of our Faculty. Also, I teach in post-doctoral programs of AOG and Tias, on Change Management, Leadership and HR-Strategy.



Prof. Simone Buitendijk

Simone Buitendijk is the Vice Rector of the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, a position that she assumed in September of 2011. She holds a chair in Women’s and Family Health. She is a member of the genSET Science Leaders Panel and a member of the LERU (League of European Research Universities) Steering Group for the advice paper on Gender in Academia. As Vice Rector, she is responsible for education, student affairs, diversity and Human Resource Management.


Prof. Curt Rice

Curt Rice works as Pro Rector for Research & Development at the University of Tromsø, in Tromsø, Norway. Prior to assuming this position in 2009, he was the Founding Director of the Center for Advanced Study in Theoretical Linguistics: A Norwegian Centre of Excellence (CASTL). He is a member of the genSET Science Leaders Panel and he is the Chair of the Board of Current Research Information Systems in Norway (cristin.no). His primary activities as Pro Rector focus on gender equality, open access, research-based teaching and leadership development. He blogs on these issues at curtrice.wordpress.com.
