The Faculty Club Foundation’s aim is to stimulate the academic discourse at the University of Twente and its environment in an innovative, stimulating way. In addition, it wishes to provide a platform for discussing social themes. The Foundation contributes to the development and shaping of an academic community for staff and students of the University but also for the public authorities, businesses and inhabitants of the region. The Foundation organises activities around current themes within the university, the region, or society at large. The Foundation also has a facilitating role in creating and maintaining networks, always with the Campus as central meeting place.
Fellows of the Faculty Club Foundation University of Twente have access to the lounge (the Blomzaal) of the Faculty Club. The Blomzaal is a meeting place where staff can meet colleagues and introduce guests, enjoy a drink or read a magazine. Outside of the opening hours, fellows can also make reservations for the room for meetings and presentations.
The fellowship gives access to the Blomzaal and all the activities organised by the Faculty Club Foundation.
The Blomzaal is open during working days for all fellows and their guests:
- From 17:00 to the closing of the restaurant.
Reservations for the Blomzaal can be made by fellows:
