Honours Programme Director
The Honours Programme Director is responsible for the development, execution, and organisation of the Honours programmes. The Honours Programme Director is also the head of the Honours Office.
Honours Office
The Honours Office is the executive management that solves problems, creates policies and organises activities to secure and monitor the continuity, quality and developments of the Honours programmes of the University of Twente. Furthermore, the Honours Office provides support to and consults with all the organs involved in the Honours programmes. To contact the Honours Office, please send an e-mail to honours@utwente.nl
Examination committee Honours
The Examination Committee determines objectively and expertly whether a student meets the requirements set by the regulations of the Honours programmes with regard to the knowledge, insight and skills necessary to obtain a certificate. Furthermore, the committee has the final say in case of a dispute between students and teachers regarding the examination. The Examination Committee meets four times per year:
- In the January meeting, among others, the Annual Report and new enrolments are discussed.
- The January meeting for 2024 is scheduled for the 16th of January
- In the June meeting, among others, it is decided for which tracks (one bachelor, one master) the assessment will be evaluated, and any amendments or changes to these R&R will be determined (see article 3.3).
- The June meeting for 2024 is scheduled for the 10th of June
- In the Autumn meeting, any amendments to the Honours Education Regulations will be discussed and the list of Examiners will be determined (following article 1.1.4. above). Cases of conflict as mentioned under 1.1.5 preferably are discussed in one of the three meetings, but will also be dealt with separately when urgency requires that, which may result in additional meetings or a written (e-mail) round for decision making.
- The Autumn meeting for 2023 is scheduled for the 9th of October
There is also an additional meeting planned for the year 2024 which takes place on the 20th of March

Honours Education Committee (HEC)
The Honours Education Committee offers the Honours Dean and the Honours Office solicited and unsolicited advice about the educational substance of the tracks, and about the Educational Regulations, quality, progress and development of the Honours programmes of the University of Twente. In advising, the Honours Education Committee takes the findings of the Honours Educational Quality Committee into account. The HEC is looking for new and motivated student or teacher members, if you are interested, please contact education-committee-honours-eemcs@utwente.nl.
Honours Educational Quality Committee (HEQC)
With students and teachers, the Honours Educational Quality Committee evaluates and assesses the quality of the Honours programmes and provides points for improvement to the Honours Office, the Honours Education Committee and the Honours Tracks. To contact the HEQC, please send an e-mail to: qa-honours@utwente.nl. The HEQC is looking for new and motivated student or teacher members, if you are interested, please contact qa-honours@utwente.nl.

Honours Tracks
The Honours Tracks are the teachers and coordinators who assess, interview and teach students, and who develop the Honours programmes of the University of Twente. The current coordinators of the tracks can be found on the track-specific pages for the Bachelor and Master. The current teachers of the tracks can be found in OSIRIS.
