Artist Bas Kosters made his breakthrough with striking fashion collections, but over the past ten years he has also made a name for himself with textiles, drawings, graphic art and ceramics. Through these works, he tells personal stories about loneliness, happiness, freedom, sexuality and identity. Layer upon layer, colour upon colour. Always with one driving force: the desire to connect with others. Drs. Hiska Bakker (SG) interviews him at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, where his first solo exhibition, Many Loving Arms, is on display from 14 February to 7 June. There will also be time to view the exhibition. Start interview: 19.30 hours till around 20.10 hours. Museum open till 21 hours. Students free of charge. Others: 7,50 euro.
