Alumni in Paris are invited to the annual Twente/4TU.Alumni event in the city on Wednesday evening 18 June, taking place at the Collège néerlandais on the campus of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
During this evening you will hear local alumni speakers talking about their careers and current roles (see below for more details), as well as get updates from your alma mater and the Dutch embassy.
There will also be a chance for networking! Take advantage of the closing 'borrel' to catch up with friends and make new contacts from the local alumni community in Paris not only from Twente but also TU Delft, TU Eindhoven & Wageningen University.
Participants will also have the option to join an informal tour of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris before the event.
This event is free for alumni from the Dutch Technical Universities but for logistical reasons, prior registration is required via this online form.

Pietro Campolucci (alumnus TUD) Technical Lead at Parrot. | Pietro Campolucci is autonomous flight tech lead at Parrot Drones, specializing in flight missions design and development. He contributed to the development of such solutions for the commercial Anafi AI drone and the recently announced Anafi UKR drone. The missions span from return-to-home, to inspection, to obstacle avoidance. His current challenge is to allow this technology to be used on a wide range of UAV platforms. |
Marc d'Engremont (alumnus WUR) Development Director at Veolia. | Marc d'Engremont works as Development Director at Veolia. He holds a Master's degree in Environmental Technology/Water Treatment from WUR (2007-2009), and graduated from UniLaSalle (2002-2009) as Agricultural and Environmental Engineer as well. Marc has built a 15-year-career at Veolia (worldwide environment services company). His professional journey includes roles such as: Development Director for different territories in Île-de-France region (2018-present); Wastewater Operations & Maintenance Manager (2012-2019) & Water and wastewater Engineer in Oman (2010-2012). |
Saumya Kumaar Saksena (alumnus UT) Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision Engineer at Osram. | Saumya Kumaar Saksena is an Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision Engineer with over five years of experience, currently working at ams-OSRAM in Paris. His work focuses on building low-power deep learning solutions for mobile and embedded systems—ranging from 3D depth estimation and light sensing to vital-sign monitoring and gesture recognition. Saumya hold a Master’s in Systems and Control from the University of Twente, and over the years, has authored 13 publications and filed four patents in the fields of vision AI and healthcare technology. Saumya has had the opportunity to work across both research and industry settings—from startups to academic labs. Saumya is passionate about bridging cutting-edge AI research with real-world applications, and outside of work, enjoys spending quality time with his family.
