Erasmus+ Best Practice Sharing Day

On 2 October 2018 we will host an Erasmus+ practice sharing day at UT. Upcoming January and February 2019 there will be new deadlines to apply for E+ funding and this meeting is organized to inform you about the possibilities best. The day will consist of a general overview plenary followed by three workshops and will take place 11:00 – 17:00 in the Design Lab.

What is Erasmus+? Erasmus+ is a funding scheme from the European Commission. It offers a range of opportunities for Dutch universities. It gives students and staff the possibility to study, teach or do an internship abroad. It supports international partnerships and joint education programs. For the complete overview of activities, please see: https://www.erasmusplus.nl/English.

What’s in it for you? The majority of the yearly deadlines for applying for Erasmus+ grants are end January 2019. These sessions are aimed at sharing experiences and preparing UT colleagues for possible new and renewed applications. Practice sharing by networking can help solving issues in current projects and sharing information on initiatives can strengthen future applications for Erasmus+ funding.

What will be presented? Madalena Pereira from the Dutch National Agency for Erasmus+ will present an overview of the program as a whole and the budget involved and explain the actions in a general opening. This will be followed by practice sharing sessions on strategic partnerships & knowledge alliances (so called Erasmus+ Key Action 2), Erasmus Mundus funding for double degree and the student and staff exchange options with countries outside the EU (Key Action 107). In all sessions UT staff will share ins& outs from their experience.

Where and when does it take place? This E+ day will take place in the Design Lab and runs from 11:00 to 17:00. You are kindly invited to participate in the full programme, but it is also possible to take part in individual components.
