Dutch Engineers Alumni Network - Trondheim

Yes, a first alumni event in Trondheim for graduates from the Dutch technical universities! This activity kicks off "rett etter jobb", so at 17:00, at Den Gode Nabo. We provide finger food with the first round of drinks covered by the alumni offices back in Delft, Eindhoven, Twente, and Wageningen!

At 17:30, Erwin Hans Professor Operations Management in Healthcare at the UT will give a brief presentation about his work*. After that participants will be offered an open mic (with or without presentation) with which to share in 5-minute pitches what they do in Trondheim (or surroundings). After that, we may move outside depending on which of the four seasons Trondheim is experiencing that day.

When: Tuesday 5th September 17:00hr

Where: Den Gode Nabo (Øvre Bakklandet 66, Trondheim)

Programme:

17:00-17:30 Introductions

17:30-18:00 Presentation by Erwin Hans, ‘Are you doing any better, Doctor?’

The quality of care in the Netherlands is one of the highest in the world, but on the other hand involve far too large expenditures doubling every decade. Increasing life expectancy is causing a double "gray pressure". If we want to maintain the high quality of care, something has to change: care processes need to be organized more efficiently.

18:00-18:30 Open mic pitches

18:30-19:30 Borrel

This event is free for alumni from the Dutch Technical Universities but for logistical purposes please register through the form below.
