Guest lecture by Nadieh Bremer (http://www.visualcinnamon.com), "Astronomer-turned-Data-Scientist-turned-self-taught-Data-Visualization-Designer".
Nadieh Bremer will take us on a journey along some of the different facets that you come across while creating data visualizations. From understanding how our brain affects the things we see, to setting up your data narrative by using a storytelling approach, to taking a deep dive into the design and creation of one specific piece – about Urbanization in Asia – to showcasing some of her favorite visuals. This visual journey will leave you full of ideas and eager to make exploring and explaining your own data more intuitive, effective, engaging or downright fun.
