SUMMARY

Looking for a suitable research position where I can explore and apply my analytical and engineering skills, especially in the area of medical robotics, precision machine design, or mechatronic system design; and grow as a researcher and contribute towards the success of the organization.

Currently, working towards the Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics from Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Twente, Netherlands. Research interests include mechatronic design of surgical telemanipulation system, modelling and simulation of flexible endoscopic surgical system, and precision machine design.

Has working experience of more than 4 years in the area of precision machine design and automobile engineering. Aptitude and background in Mechanical Design and Analysis. Acquired skills in Precision Machine design and Mechatronic system design. Proficient in using CAD/CAE tools for solid modeling, FEM and CFD analysis, flexible multibody modelling.

Received Chancellor’s Gold medal and the best Masters thesis award for outstanding performance in academics.

Flexible multibody modelling and simulation of a surgical instrument inside an endoscope to study motion and force transmission in translation and rotation
Studied the effect of friction, bending stiffness and torsional stiffness on the dynamic behaviour of a flexible instrument
Designed an experimental set-up to study the dynamic behaviour of a flexible surgical instrument inside a curved rigid tube: 2-DOFs actuation module, 6-DOFs force measurement module, 2-DOFs tip motion measurement module, and xPC target system for data-acquisition and control
