Dawn Spruijtenburg nominated for the prizes of the Student Research Conference 2017

Dawn Spruijtenburg is one of the six UT students who have been nominated for the prizes of the Student Research Conference 2017. The nomination is a result of the highly-valued quality of her bachelor thesis. Dawn’s bachelor thesis is titled: Traffic Management under Boundedly Rational User Equilibrium: Day-to-day Toll Strategy. She will present their research at the Student Research Conference on 15 November, which will be held in Middelburg. Dawn was supervised by Oskar Eikenbroek and Eric van Berkum.

The Student Research Conference is the annual scientific conference that is all about undergraduate research. The SRC welcomes students who have completed a bachelor's programme at all Dutch and Flemish universities (of applied sciences). They can submit a paper about their research and after the last call of papers, all submissions are evaluated and rated by a Review Committee, a committee of experienced professors, teachers and lecturers. They provide feedback, and select a group of approx. 60 students to come present their research at the annual Conference. These excellent students receive a publication in an open access e-journal. In addition to this, they have a chance of winning one of the many SRC Awards!
