Dr. Vedran Zerjav – v.zerjav@utwente.nl


Vedran was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Construction Management and Engineering, University of Twente. His former role was focused on the development of methods for scenario-based planning of patient out-care centers as one of the projects in the High Tech Health Farm, an interdisciplinary initiative between UT research institutes, the province of Overijssel, and health-care providers.

Prior to joining the UT-CME research group, Vedran obtained his PhD degree at Vienna University of Technology in Austria and a Diploma in Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. For his PhD, Vedran researched aspects of design management in large-scale construction projects in the US, the UK, and the Netherlands. In his previous career, Vedran was also teaching at the University of Zagreb and working for a project management consultancy company.

Vedran’s research interest focuses on design and design management theory, approaches, and practical applications in the built environment context. His work has been published in Journal of Construction Engineering and Management and he serves as a reviewer for Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, Construction Management and Economics, and Engineering Project Organization Journal.
