The research objectives are:1.Development of a modelling approach for energy efficiency and two-directional energy conversion of coupled electrical-mechanical-acoustical systems with energy recovery2.Performance prediction and performance optimization of actuator systems recovering the internal mechanical energy3.Design of a flat smart structure driven by energy-efficient actuators for low frequency sound generation and validation of the numerical models by means of experimental data.
