This research theme focuses on the development and integration of advanced heat pumps, refrigeration systems and fuel cell technologies within hybrid and multi-energy systems. The work addresses high-efficiency heat, cooling, gas and power conversion, sector coupling between electricity, heat, and fuels, and system-level optimization of integrated energy systems for industry, transport and the built environment.
