Academic background
Safety Cube is a safety-integration concept developed by Dr Mohammad Rajabali Nejad in the context of research and education at the University of Twente. It supports structured thinking about safety across people, technical systems, the surrounding context, and their interactions.
The concept has been used in earlier teaching and research activities related to Safety by Design, system safety, and integrated safety analysis.
Safety Cube Method
The Safety Cube Method builds on this integrated perspective and has been further developed in connection with safety analysis, design requirements and lifecycle-oriented risk management. Earlier public information about the method and the related Dutch Technical Agreement can be found through the University of Twente news archive.
