Biomechanical Engineering
The BE department specialises in the application area of Biomedical Technology, integrating the tools of several engineering disciplines to analyse aspects of human functioning. The research in this department, covers the special mechanical properties of living biological tissue and the dynamics of the human system and applies this knowledge to the development of instruments, devices, and methodologies to support how individuals function in daily life.
At the department, 70 colleagues work together on education and research in biomedical technology. You can read more about BE at their website.
