Emeritus Prof. Dr. Jacques Noordermeer received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the TireTech Conference in Hannover, Germany. This international conference was recently held together with the Tire Technology Expo, and was attended by 4500 interested visitors.
With this award, 35 years of work dedicated to elastomer and tire technology was acknowledged. Within his professional career, Prof. Noordermeer was the chair holder of the Elastomer Technology and Engineering (ETE) group for 14 years. Even though he is now emeritus professor, he is still active within ETE group.
