Suppachai Sattayanurak 

Suppachai Sattayanurak was born in Songkla Province, Thailand on 21st of June 1984. He obtained his bachelor degree of Science (Rubber Technology) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Pattani Campus, Thailand in 2007. The topic for the senior project was “Preparation of thermoplastic polyolefin based on natural rubber and polypropylene blends”. He started working at RPS Technologies. Co., Ltd., Pathumthani Province, Thailand in 2007-2008 and later changed job to Thai Bridgestone. Co., Ltd., (Nong Khae Plant), Saraburi Province, Thailand in 2008-2013, at Compounding Section, Technical department. He obtained his master degree of Science (Petrochemistry and Polymer Science) at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Province, Thailand in 2012. The master thesis topic was “Properties of styrene butadiene rubber compounded with devulcanized waste spew rubber from tire manufacturing”. From 2013-2015 he joined Bridgestone Asia Pacific Technical Center. Co., Ltd., Pathumthani Province, Thailand at Product Process Development. In January 2016, Suppachai joined the Elastomer Technology & Engineering group, Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Twente, as a PhD student under a joint program between Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Pattani Campus and University of Twente (UT). He will study and work at both Universities, planning for 2 years at PSU and another 2 years at UT on a project entitled “Silica Reinforced Natural Rubber: Shifting Tire Performance by Hybridization with Secondary Fillers and Polymers”.
