Rounak Ghosh

Rounak was born in West Bengal, India on 12th February, 1994. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Degree in Jute and Fibre Technology from University of Calcutta in 2016. He performed his In-plant training in weaving department of Oswal Denim Pvt. Limited. His B.Tech thesis was published in International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research (ISSN 2229-5518) in 2019 on the topic “Studies on tensile properties of cross-laid needle punched non-woven polyester fabric”. He worked in Welspun India Limited as an engineer in Terry Towel Weaving Production. He completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2019. He was awarded DAAD scholarship and completed his master’s thesis with joint collaboration with RWTH Aachen University. He started working at the ETE group, University of Twente as PDEng trainee in June, 2019. His current research topic is “Devulcanization of Natural Rubber in Twin Screw Extruder” in collaboration with Rubber Green Company, Frameries, Belgium.
