Dorota Kokot

Dorota Kokot was born in Gdynia, Poland on the 8th of August, 1980. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree (2003) from Gdansk University of Technology in Environmental Protection and Management with the thesis: “The properties of peroxide-cured PP/EPDM with different stabilizers”. Dorota carried out her practical part of the B.Sc. research at Twente University attending the Erasmus program. She obtained her Master’s  degree (2007) from Brandenburg University of Technology in Environmental Resource Management and the topic of her thesis was: “Comparison of two different reactor systems for bioleaching application of printed circuit boards, using different parameters”. Over the past few years Dorota has been working for different  companies with various profiles including: environmental sector, business, and IT. She joined the ETE group in September 2017, embarking on this new adventure and traveling to Enschede together with her westie companion named Ivi. Dorota is currently working on a topic of “EPDM devulcanization of non-tire rubber compounds”.

Interesting fact: Dorota isn’t really fond of deep, open waters, however she enjoys water sports like kitesurfing or stand up paddle boarding.
