Development of artificial intelligent techniques for condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and prognosis of rotating machinery. Typical research topics: signal and image processing, time-series forecasting, machine learning, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis based data driven.
Relating the degradation/failure of military system or subsystem to the usage profile, simulating in different scenarios in order to support decisions on future maintenance activities.
Developing techniques for predicting failures and optimizing the logistics of ships and their subsystems.
