Please find here the new student guide for the MSc thesis.
An important change is related to the proposal form. The student must first go to CES to pick up the proposal form, the form can also be found in appendix 8 of the student guide. Then CES will check whether the student has 10 EC or less open in course work to start the Preparation MSc-thesis (5 EC or less to start MSc thesis project). In this way the thesis supervisor knows whether the student can start with the preparation for the thesis, since he/ she does not have access to Mobility Online.

August 2017, the Smart Urban Mobility Lab (SUM-LAB) was opened in in this Brazilian metropolis. The research facility is an initiative of the city of Curitiba, two local universities – the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR) – and the University of Twente.
Researchers from each of the partners will work together in the SUM-LAB to formulate the key challenges facing urban mobility in the metropolis of Curitiba. They will also examine ways in which these challenges can best be met. These researchers will cooperate in the context of various studies and in testing innovative mobility solutions, using the city as a Living Lab. The lab is located at the UTFPR.
Join us! Carry out a research project at the SUM-LAB as part of your BSc or MSc thesis, internship or as a minor. We also offer exchange packages for some bachelor programmes. Projects start each semester.
