Circularity, Digital Twins and Methodological Discussions at ARCOM 41st Annual Conference
A strong delegation of Construction Management and Engineering-cluster members represented Twente at ARCOMs Annual conference (1-3 September) at Abertay University in Dundee. A team of nine postgraduate researchers and professors presented, took part in plenary sessions and debated in the three days of convening about circularity, procurement, BIM digitalisation and AI, and research methodology. Our team presented:
“Understanding Transformational Changes in Construction from a Critical Realism Perspective” by Andreas Hartmann
“Reducing Costs and Labour Through Team Development in Collaborative Serial Programs” by Eveline Hinfelaar, Julian Krone and Leentje Volker
“Concept and Knowledge Expansions in Circular Viaduct Design” by Marc van den Berg and Tom Coenen
“Dissemination to Co-Production: An Autoethnography of Boundary Spanning in Knowledge Ecosystems” by Ruth Noemi Francia Sloot and Leentje Volker
