The RE:Match.D project aims to make the reuse of infrastructure components easier and more reliable. We view the built environment as a valuable urban mine and are developing a digital approach to intelligently match supply and demand. Specifically, we connect projects that release materials with projects that require those materials. This is facilitated through regional collaboration hubs, where inventory management, storage, and coordination are brought together. The primary focus is on the Twente region, with validation taking place in the Brabant region. Over a period of three years, this approach will be developed and tested in practice in close collaboration with municipalities and businesses.
