The built environment is increasingly facing a multiplicity of transition challenges that need to be pursued simultaneously, including circularity, energy transition, preventive health, etc. The larger consortium studies how the diversity of values embedded in those transition challenges can be aligned between stakeholder to arrive at aligned transition directions. In the PhD project at the UT, we look at how local decision-makers deal with this plurality and aim for developing ways to better deal with these value tensions. Doing so, we aim to contribute to accerating the interdependent transitions in the built environment.
