Pioneer in Health Care projects

Ten Pioneer in Healt Care (PiHC) projects have been awarded, and Femke Schröder (BDDP) is involved in three of them!

Together with our partners MST, ZGT, DZ, Saxion, and Roessingh, we are working on innovative healthcare improvements for disorders of the lower extremities. We are developing a patient‑specific surgical guide for hip revision procedures, introducing AI‑driven decision support into the consultation room for patients with gonarthrosis, and further advancing the Twente Foot Model. By combining technological and clinical expertise, we aim to make healthcare more personalized, precise, and efficient.
