She received the BSc and MSc degrees in Information Engineering and Telecommunication & Electronics Engineering from University of Perugia, respectively in 2008 and 2012. Her main focus was on RF Integrated Circuits on BiCMOS technology. The topic of the Bachelor's Degree was the project of a negative resistance VCO Oscillator on CMOS technology.
During the Master's Degree she won an Erasmus grant and she has done her final project in Tyndall Instititue, the Irish Microelectronics Institute in Cork, Ireland under the supervision of Professor Domenico Zito. Her work was on a low bandgap reference voltage on BiCMOS technology.
After the degree she worked for British Telecom in Rome as DB Analyst and Software developer. From February 2012 she started as a PhD student joining the Microwave Photonics Group, Department of Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Twente.
