Optimal selling prices

Together with a US-based company specialized in software applications for third-party retailers at, we develop a method to learn optimal selling prices from sales data. This is a hot topic, both in the practice and scientific theory of online retailing.

The student in this graduation project is expected to work on mathematical problems underlying these pricing-and-learning algorithms, and to do some computational work on their effectiveness.

The type of mathematics occurring in this work is: probability theory, stochastics, statistics. Mild programming skills (e.g. Matlab) are helpful.
