The SCS Research Group is proud to celebrate two significant achievements at the 44th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER 2025), held this year in Poitiers, France.
Best Paper Award
Max Willis, Greta Adamo, and Giancarlo Guizzardi received the Best Paper Award for their contribution entitled “Group Modelling as Discourse: Games, Play, Ontologies and the Emergence of Shared Understandings.” Their work offers an original perspective on how conceptual modeling, discourse, and shared meaning interact in collaborative settings.
Best Reviewer Award
Tiago Prince Sales was honored with the Best Reviewer Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the review process and his commitment to maintaining the high scientific standards of the ER community.
