Description:
The popularity of steganography in crime is rapidly increasing day by day. The attackers use different media such as images, video, audio, to hide malware/viruses in a medium. Researchers have been developing tools to protect important information from these attacks. On the other side, the attackers have been taking advantage of these tools to develop new methods for their criminal activities. The project aims to develop a method by using the concept of AI to determine if the attacker has used any information hiding methods in an image, video, and/or audio for their attack. The expectation is to have a prototype to detect at least two attacks from a predefined set of attacks.
Requirements:
- Interest in Image Steganography and Artificial Intelligence
- Interest in data analysis
- Literature review on steganography threats and tools
- Can program in Python/Matlab
