Matthias Schlottbom is an assistant professor (UD) in the group Multiscale Modeling and Simulation in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente.

His research interests are in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing. The main focus is the development of numerical methods for partial differential equations and inverse problems. Main areas of applications are photon transport models, medical imaging, and network formation.
