Radio Systems Specialization

Introduction

Radio Systems specialization is directly linked to the research group Radio Systems within the Electrical Engineering department and the Digital Society Institute. Research in the Radio Systems group covers a wide range of topics around physical layer for wireless communication and radar systems, signal processing algorithms, radio propagation, channel modeling, and antenna design. In addition to theoretical aspects, we strongly focus on implementation of signal processing algorithms, prototyping communication systems using Software Defined Radios (SDRs), building and testing antennas and practical channel measurements which are all an integral part of the research work in our group.
