During the meeting, we will delve further into the themes: education, research and organisation & collaboration.

Education

  1. As external stakeholders, you may have experience in hiring our bachelor and/or master students and/or in providing thesis assignments or internships. What are our students really good at, and where do you think they can improve?
    1. Bachelor (Applied Mathematics, Technical Computer Science, Business and IT, Electrical Engineering, Creative Technology).
    2. Master (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Interaction Technology).
  2. Do you have tips for our educational programmes, based on your perspective, relevant for our net multi-annual strategy?
  3. The UT is investing in Lifelong Learning (LLL). How do you think that matches the needs of your company/organisation? Any recommendations on this?

Research

  1. What is your motivation to collaborate with EEMCS in research? What do you expect from this collaboration? Do you want to expand our collaboration in certain areas?
  2. On which societal priorities should EEMCS realise impact in the coming 5 years? How can our continued collaboration with you contribute to this?
  3. How structural would you prefer the collaboration in research between your organisation and EEMCS to be? Should it have a time horizon of 1, 4, 10 years? On which aspect should EEMCS improve or keep as it is?
  4. What other advice concerning research do you have for EEMCS?

Organisation & Collaboration

  1. How should we structure our collaborations to maximize impact? (e.g. shared appointments of staff and PhD students, student exchanges/internships, data sharing, your participation in advisory committees)
  2. What is the best way to get continued input from external stakeholders for our education and research?
  3. If you want to start a new collaboration with our faculty, is it clear whom you should contact? Is it important for you to identify EECMS as a separate identity within UT?
  4. What other advice do you have for the organisation of our collaboration with stakeholders in society?
