Fatemeh Massah graduates with EngD research on sustainable construction operations

We are pleased to share that Fatemeh Massah has successfully completed her EngD research, carried out as part of the ECOLOGIC project.

Her research focused on supporting more sustainable construction site operations through Digital Twin concepts. The work combined Enterprise Architecture and simulation modelling to create a foundation for emissions monitoring and operational decision support, with particular attention to earthmoving activities involving excavators and dump trucks.

The research explored how digital technologies, integrated data, and scenario-based simulation can support better-informed decisions on productivity, emissions, and sustainable construction operations.
