Dit jaar is het mogelijk om colleges te volgen op festival de Zwarte Cross, dat van 20 tot en met 22 juli in Lichtenvoorde plaatsvindt. De festivalbezoekers worden in de ‘Universitent’ getrakteerd op acht colleges over uiteenlopende onderwerpen zoals nanotechnologie, filosofie en experimentele natuurkunde. Zes van de acht colleges worden verzorgd door wetenschappers van de Universiteit Twente, waaronder Wilfred van der Wiel.
