65 years of UT: back to Drienerlo!

In 2026, Universiteit Twente celebrates its 65th anniversary with two unforgettable Alumni Days on 8 and 9 May. This is your chance to return to where it all began, reconnect with former classmates and build new connections. 

• Friday 8 May (from 13:30): Deep Dive Drienerlo
  Explore the renewed campus, immerse yourself in engaging lectures on the latest developments in AI, biomedical technology and sustainability, and round off the day with a relaxed dinner and drinks. The perfect opportunity to reminisce and catch up with former fellow students and lecturers.
• Saturday 9 May (from 10:00): Alumni Day meets the Batavierenrace
  A day full of inspiring sessions and activities, with the festive finish of the Batavierenrace on the iconic track as the absolute highlight. Experience once again the energy and excitement of this legendary event, which has been an unforgettable part of student life for so many UT alumni.

Practical information
You can choose to attend one day or the full weekend. Day tickets include meals and drinks. Young alumni (up to 35 years old) benefit from a reduced rate. Planning to stay overnight? You can enjoy a discounted stay at the UParkhotel on campus.
