🎓 60 years of AM at UT - celebrate with us with our anniversary book!
Did you ever start differentiating in your first year of study? Or did you ever discover the charm of linear algebra in the Cubicus (formerly TW/RC building), Carré (or then partly “de Hallen”) or Zilverling? Then this is the book (written by Herman Koppelman AM'77 - in Dutch) for you! 📘✨

In 2028, our Applied Mathematics programme at the University of Twente will celebrate its 60th anniversary. In honour of this anniversary, a beautiful book will be published, filled with stories, interviews and photos from six decades of mathematical history — from pioneers in the 1960s to students of today.
🧠 What does “applied mathematics” actually mean?
📚 Which lecturers and graduates made a difference?
🎓 And where did all those graduates end up?
The book has around 200 pages, contains 150 photos and is full of recognisable and surprising stories from (former) students and staff members, some of whom you may know.🛒 Order the book now for only €25 (no shipping costs within the Netherlands if you order before 1 October 2025!)
