Joost-Pieter Katoen, member of the FMT group, recently received the prestigious ERC Advanced Grant.
This will allow him to do research into probabilistic programming. Joost-Pieter will try to find errors in the software of safety critical systems, by developing methods that can calculate the chance of such errors occurring.
We congratulate Joost-Pieter on this well deserved grant. An interview with Joost-Pieter has been published in I/O magazine BASIS.
