Research proposal funded!

We're happy with Fernando Castor, as his research proposal has been funded! The title of the project is 'Reducing the Energy Cost of AI in High-Stakes Systems' and was funded under the Energy Efficient Computing call 2026 organised by MESA⁺, DSI, EEMCS and the Climate Centre. PI's are Fernando Castor and Marcos Machado (BMS-HBE-FEBIS). The value is € 38000,-.
