Award of a Degree

This type of request refers to the decision that a student has met all requirements of the study programme and so can be awarded a degree for it. Students have to make an explicit request for this when they are about to graduate. Information about the application for your degree can be found on the webpage of your study (regarding final project / thesis) or on Canvas.

Cum Laude

The guidelines for Cum Laude are laid down in the EER programme specific appendices. A student who does not meet these conditions might request as Cum Laude award if there are extenuating circumstances. For instance, the guideline for Cum Laude limits the period within which the degree must have been obtained but Cum Laude can still be awarded if there are justifiable reasons such as illness. Such a request must be made before the degree is awarded.
